Schreiber, 87, of 906 North Blvd., Edmond, Okla., formerly of Smethport, died Wednesday in Edmond. She was born March 20, 1900, in Smethport, a daughter of Louis (sic) and Armetta Ostrander Thomas. In 1924 (sic) in Kane she married William J. Schreiber, who died in 1941. A resident of the Smethport area for many years, Mrs. Schreiber, a retired school teacher, had been employed by the Smethport School District for almost 25 years. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Smethport, the American Association of Retired Persons, National Retired Teachers Association and the Pennsylvania Travelers Club. Surviving are one son, William T. Schreiber of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, John H. Schreiber; five brothers and three sisters. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lee-Switzer Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter E.
