Thomas http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00016.html#0003785 August 29, 2009, 11:15 pm McKean County Democrat, Smethport, Pa., Thursday, October 31, 1957, Page 4 Mrs. Bertha Simon Dies in Community Hospital at Kane Kane (Special)—Mrs. Bertha Rathborn Simon, 62, of Kane R.D. 1, died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday in Kane Community Hospital shortly after being admitted as a patient. She had been in ill health for two years. Mrs. Simon was born at Hazel Hurst on Feb. 6, 1895, and was a member of the Mt. Jewett Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband, George, are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Ostrander, Bel Air, Md.; Mrs. Bernard Nevel, Fulda, Germany; and Mrs. James Vasbinder, Silver Spring, Md.; three sons, Keneth and George Jr., both of Harrisburg; and James, Annapolis, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Mitch Campnian, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Jess Robinson, Coleville; also Mrs. Daisy Carlson and Mrs. Roy Potter, both of Bradford; three brothers, Walter and Jack Rathborn, both of Titusville; and Michael, Youngstown; also 13 grandchildren.
