Abrams Dies at Age of 80 In His Residence Aaron Milton Abrams, 80, died at his home at 15 Ascension St., Monday night. He had been in ill health for the past several months. Mr. Abrams was born on May 3, 1871, at Raymilton, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Abrams. He came to Bradford in 1926 and was engaged in the oil field drilling business. He was a partner in the Abrams Brothers Drilling Co. He was married to the former Ethel Ballard on Nov. 24, 1909. Besides his wife, he leaves seven sons, Donald, Phoenix, Ariz., Samuel, Jamestown, N.Y., William, John and Richard of Bradford, Harvey and Calvin of Limestone, N.Y.: two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Lawson and Mrs. Clarence Hancock, both of Bradford; 32 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel starting tonight. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced. The Bradford (PA) Era Tues, May 23, 1961 ************************************************ Bradford (PA) Era, 24 May 1961 Aaron Abrams Rites To Be Held Thursday Final rites for Aaron Milton Abrms, 80, of 15 Ascension St., who died at his home Monday night, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel. Dr. S. Paul Weaver, pastor of the Hill Memorial Evangelical United Brethern Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the McKean Memorial Park at Lafayette. The Bradford (PA) Era Wed.
