J. F. Collins, cashier of the People’s National Bank, received word Monday of
the death at Stoneboro, Mercer county, of his mother Mrs. Hannah Jane (Coonce)
Collins, aged 97 years. She was born December 7, 1839. Mrs. Collins was the
widow of Willion Collins, who died 25 years ago. They had lived at St.
Petersburg, Clarion county, where Mrs. Collins continued to reside until six
years ago, when she went to Stoneboro to make her home with a sister. Of her
four sons, J. F. Collins alone survives. Mr. and Mrs. Collins left Somerset
Monday evening for Stoneboro.
