Frances A. Budd Wilson, a descendant of William Budd, founder of the Mercer
County town of Sharon, died Monday at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital,
Pittsburgh. Ms. Wilson, 91, of Sharon was a former president of the Daughters of
the American Pioneers and Sharon Women's Club. She was also a member of the
Pittsburgh Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Congress of clubs
and Three Rivers Chapter of the Colonial Days of the 17th Century. She is
survived by two daughters, Ida and Olive Wilson, both of Sharon. Friends will be
received from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Speer-
Anthony Caprive Funeral Home, 2927 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Services will be
held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood
Cemetery, Sharon, Pa
