Inventory and account to be rendered and exhibited in the Register's Office of the said county of Mifflin agreeable to law". John Norris, Register. Orphans court Docket 3 page 308 of Mifflin County PA. "Humble Report of Jane Glenn, sole administrator of John Glenn, late of Lack Township. sd Report says that the Adminstratrix had advertised the land for sale on AUgust 22nd, 1813 in "The Juniata Gazette" and that on Oct 12th, Thursday, the land was sold. 190 acres was sold to the highest bidder for $300. which was paid on April 1st, 1814. At an Orphan's Court held the 25th of November 1814, Docket 3, page 321, is found the Petition of David Glenn eldest son of John Glenn, who died intestate in Lack Township leaving a widow and issue five children as follows to wit: 1. David Glenn 2. Jane who married Robert Brown 3. William (underaged in 1815) so born after 1790 4. John (underaged in 1815) so born after 1790 5. Mary (underaged in 1815) so born after 1790 "The last three of these children are in their respective minorities" Petition is to have authority to sell land in Perry Twp, Mifflin County, Orphans Court held in Mifflin Twp 21st April 1815 Orphan's Court held in Mifflin County, on the 21st of April 1815 See Docket 3, p 417 Petition is made for the appointment of a Guardian for the minor children of John Glenn. James P. Maclay is appointed by order of the Court Guardian of the aforesaid minor children of John Glenn deceased. Note: William P Maclay was the first United States Senator from Penns. and was the son in law of John Harris the founder of Harrisburg. This may have been Same man or possibly a son.
