All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/mifflin/ ___________________________________________________________ Deed JACOB BUMBAUGH TO JULIANN BUMBAUGH The indenture made and entered into this first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three by and between Jacob Bumbaugh of Derry township in Mifflin county and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the one part and July Anna Bumbaugh of the said township of the other part witnesseth that the sid Jacob Bumbaugh for and in consideration of the sum of seventy seven dollars to him in hand paid by the said July Anna Bumbaugh the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained and sold and do hereby grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said July Anna Bumbaugh her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns all my right and title in and to the lot of ground with all the apurtenances, belongings thereto situate in the long narrows in said county in the township of Derry joining Seeright on the west, Juniata on the south and mountain(Senvoy/survey?) on the north. To have and to hold, my interest in and to the said lot with all and singular, unto her the said July Anna Bumbaugh her heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of May in the year of our Lord first written above. Signed, sealed and delivered in presence of James Hensloe Jacob Bumbaugh Received on the day of the date of the foregoing instrument of writing and from therein named July Anna Bumbaugh the sum of seventy seven dollars the consideration money therein mentioned in full, witness my hand~ Witness present James (Hinsloe/Kinsbe?) Jacob Bumbaugh Before me James Kinsloe? one of the Justices of the Peace of the said county came Jacob Bumbaugh and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed ____? directed it to be recorded as such witness my hand and seal Nov. 7th~ The Petition & report of C. Hoover, Esq. acting executor of George Bumbaugh ,dec'd was presented & read in open court representing that in (pres---?) of an order of the Orphans court made on the 10th day of August 1855 after public notice according to law, he did on the 15th day of October 1858.
