Peter Derr & Wife To Christian Yodder

DEED

This Indenture made this twelfth day of April Eighteen hundred and seventeen by 
and between Peter Derr of Union Township Mifflin County and State of 
Pennsylvania and Mary his wife of the one part and Christian Yotter, cooper of 
said Township of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Peter Derr and Mary 
his wife for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and fifty dollars to 
them paid by the said Christian Yotter the receipt whereof then do hereby 
acknowledge and themselves therewith fully satisfied and the said Christian 
Yotter & his heirs .... ..... and assigns therefrom do forever acquit and 
discharge have granted bargained sold delivered released and confirmed and by 
these presents do grant bargain sell deliver release and confirm unto the said 
Christian Yotter his heirs and assigns a certain piece or parcel of land in said 
Township Union bounded as follows viz. Beginning at a white oak and thence North 
forty two degrees West thirty perches to a chesnut oak thence South fifty seven 
degrees West twenty eight perches to Stones thence South thirty three degrees 
East forty one and a half perches to Stones and thence North thirty seven 
degrees East thirty four and a half perches to the place of Beginning containing 
six acres and sixty eight perches be the same more or less together with the 
usual allowance of six percent for Road??(Being the same piece of land that John 
Zook by a conveyance dated the thirteenth day of May Eighteen hundred and 
fifteen conveyed to the said Peter Derr as in and by the said conveyance 
recourse being thereunto had will fully appear) Together with all singular the 
buildings improvements, ways, woods, waters, water courses rights liberties 
privileges ??????? and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise 
app?????? and the revisions remainders ?????? ?????? thereof and also all the 
???? right title interest properly claim and demand of him the said Peter Derr 
and Mary his wife either at law or in equity of in to or out of the same or any 
part or parcel thereof To Have and To Hold the above described premises with the 
appurtenances to and for the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said 
Christian Yotter his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Peter Derr and Mary 
his wife do further promise and agree to and with the said Christian Yotter that 
they the said Peter Derr and Mary his wife the above described promises with the 
appurtenances to the said Christian Yotter his heirs and assigns against them 
the said Peter Derr and Mary his wife and against all and every other person and 
persons whomever lawfully claiming or to claim by through from or under him them 
or ???? of them or any or either of them shall and warrant and forever defend by 
these presents. In Testimony whereof the said Peter Derr and Mary his wife have 
hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.
