Joanne U. ‘Joanie’ Allen

Joanne U. “Joanie” Allen, 88 of Belleville, went to Heaven to be with her Savior on
Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on April 22, 1936, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Addison
and Christina Rebecca (Long) Ulsh. 
For the last 17 years, Joanne has spent her life with Harold E. “Ed” Allen in
married bliss.
In addition to her husband, Joanne is survived by two daughters, Mary Ruth Houtz of
Lewistown, and Susan Elizabeth Morefield of Mechanicsburg. Including her parents,
Joanne is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Lane; three brothers, and a sister.
A private graveside service will take place at Church Hill Cemetery in Juniata
County
