Harold E. Amey, 91, of McAlisterville, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at
Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Mifflintown. 
Born July 23, 1931 in McAlisterville, Juniata County, he is a son of the late
Charles and Pauline (Varner) Amey.
On March 21, 1953, he married his late wife, Harriet L. (Elsasser) Amey, with whom
he was blessed to share more than 41 years of marriage before her passing on
December 5, 1994. 
He is survived by one sister, Janet M. Landis and her husband Richard of
McAlisterville;
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Hans J.
Amey on February 9, 1991; one daughter, Heidi Jo Dressler on August 6, 2004
Mr. Amey honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. 
He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in McAlisterville 
Interment will follow in the St. Johns United Methodist Church Cemetery.
