Lois Irene Armstrong (nče Hite) passed on Saturday, Feb. 24 2024, in her home in
Lewistown, surrounded by her sons. Lois was born in East Pittsburgh, in June of
1932, the daughter of John Flemmon Hite and Edna James Hite. Lois was the 10 of 11
siblings.
Lois was predeceased by her husband George H. Armstrong.  They were married in
December 1953.
Lois was also predeceased by her oldest son, Bruce, in 1988 and siblings John Allen
Hite, Thomas James Hite, Esther Pearl Welty, Eleanor Dorothy Intine, Lula Mae Sloss,
Genevieve Ruth Mathers, Harry Francis Hite, Donald Raymond Hite, Robert Louis Hite,
and Martha Hite.
Lois is survived by her sons George Scott,  Dale and Douglas
