Feb 26, 2024
Frederick L. Bailor, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:27 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24,
2024, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born Oct. 1, 1938, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Chester W. and Helen M.
(Heaster) Bailor.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by brothers, Chester W. and
Dewey C. Bailor and sisters, Dorothy L. Bailor, Barbara Beaver and Saundra Searer.
Fred is survived by: his wife, Donna Jane (Wagner) Bailor, whom he married Jan. 24,
1958; four children, Brian K. Bailor, of Laurel Run, Robin L. Stine and La Cinda S.
Carter, both of Lewistown and Melanie A. Thomas of Chambersburg and a sister, Audrey
J. Kinser, of Lewistown.
He served in the U.S. Navy from Nov. 1956 to Nov. 1960.
