Kay Eileen Baker, 83, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:32 a.m., Wednesday, June 28,
2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Aug. 1, 1939, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Sarah
(Baker) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husbands, James Marlin
Baker and Gerald D. Baumgardner Sr.; brother, Wilfred “Wiff” Smith; and sisters,
June Snyder, Shirley Hess and Ethel Carter.
She is survived by: sons, Gary L. Baker and wife, Suzanne S., of Granville, Ohio,
Charles J. Baker and wife, Carolyn S., of Vandergrift, and Brian J. Baker and wife,
Shashona M., of Lewistown; and siblings, Richard Smith, of Burnham, Dennis Smith and
wife, Nancy, of Holly Springs, N.C., and Pam Zeiders and husband, Paul, of
Yeagertown.
Interment at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
