Born July 24, 1941, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Richard Mark and Minerva H. (Hulet) Baker. Larry is survived by: sons, Mark E. Baker, of Dover, Pa., and Andrew T. Baker of Burnham; and sisters, Harriet Sunday of Furlong, and Debbie Ricketts, of Carnegie. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Keppler during the Cuban Missile Crisis of Oct. 1962. The U.S.S. Keppler monitored and blocked Russian ships and submarines from approaching Cuba and the United States. Interment in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
