H. Wayne Benson, 88, formerly of Millerstown, passed away at 8:30 AM, Sunday, March
10, 2024 at the Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon. 

Born June 28, 1935 in Millerstown, Perry County, is a son of the late Alonza W. and
Catherine (Holley) Benson. 

On June 1, 1953, he married his surviving wife, Dorothy (Howell) Benson. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Judy L. Shields of
Loysville and Mary L. Prosser of Newport; one son, Frank Bensonof Millerstown; three
sisters, Minnie Dietz, Jennie Howell, and Grace Milligan. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, David Benson,
Lenus Benson, Paul Benson, and Junior Benson; five sisters, Mary Serbieff, Ruth
Benson, Myrle Cooper, Mae Jones, and Jeannie Brown. 

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
