Robert E. Briar

Robert E. Briar, 91, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at his home
surrounded by family.
Born March 3, 1932, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late William E. Briar and
Helen Shilling; and stepmother, Florence Schott Briar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Sandra Jean Briar, who
passed away Feb. 18, 2013; and a son, Robert E. Briar Jr.
He is survived by; children, Connie Smith and husband, Ronald, of Maryland, Richard
Briar, of Maryland, Francis W.K. Briar, of TN, and Charles W. Briar and wife, Sheri,
of Lewistown.
Robert was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
Lind Memorial Cemetery
