Gene L. Burdge, 76, of Blairs Mills, passed away at 6:11 PM on Thursday, January 4,
2024 at his residence.
Born July 28,1947 in Lewistown, he is the son of the late Roy D. Burdge and Dolly
Alverna (Scott) Burdge. 
On October 16, 1966, he married his wife, Susan “Sue” Marie (Baney) Burdge with whom
he was blessed to share almost 55 years of marriage before her passing on July 10,
2021.
He is survived by his children, Tim Burdge of Mifflintown, Joey Burdge and Angel
Burdge, both of Blairs Mills and three siblings, Rev. Judy Rowles, Joyce Campbell,
Harry Burdge.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, James
“Jimmy” Burdge and siblings, Carl Edward Burdge, David R. Burdge, Ricky L. Burdge,
and Jenny Burdge.
Interment in Book Cemetery, Shade Valley.
