Dale J. Byers, 94, of McVeytown, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at
Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Nov. 25, 1929 in Tiffin, Ohio, he was a son of the late James Russel and Ethel
May (Nagle) Byers. His first wife, Dorothy L. Byers, preceded him in death on Oct.
17, 1976. His second wife, Edna G. (Hartley) Byers, preceded him in death on June
10, 2021.
Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Foxine Byers; and several siblings.
Surviving are: a daughter, Lorraine Drake of Mount Union.
He was U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. 
Interment will be in Haven Rest Memorial Park in Shirleysburg.
