Primary cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage; coma was complete during this time, with no chance of taking nourishment. Mr. Booth was 52 years, 8 days at time of death. He was a resident of Berkeley, California for over 10 years, having moved from Derry, Pennsylvania July 1923. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Berkeley. He was united in marriage on February 22, 1904 with Agnes Eleonora Durr, who survives with four sons, Blaine, Charles, John Gilbert, Jr., and Ernest, all of Berkeley; a brother, Blaine B. of Three Springs, Penna., and a sister, Nora, wife of Dr. E. M. Gress of Camp Hill, Penna. Funeral services (Arthur Stout) were held from his late home (Berkeley) on Tuesday, January 2, 1934, at 2:15 P.M., with religious services conducted by his Pastor, Dr. Francis Shunk Down, at the Chapel of the Chimes, terminus of Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, California; followed by cremation. 1933 newspaper clipping Note: supplied by John Gilbert Booth, Jr.
