Bowlby, 88, of Camp Hill, passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at his home. Born Aug. 5, 1916 in Garrett, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert and Judy (Bertha) Bowlby and the widower of Jeanna D. Bowlby. He is survived by: sons, Albert G. Bowlby of Carlisle and William Bodley of Tennessee; and sisters, Carol Orme and Caroline Persing, both of Lewistown. He was a member of Mount Olivet Methodist Church, Shiremanstown, the American Legion Post 90, Lewistown, V.F.W. at Large, the International Association of Bridge, Structural & Ornamental Iron Workers, the Local 404-Harrisburg, and a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II as a sergeant major. His funeral service will be at noon Thursday, at the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St., Camp Hill. Entombment will be in the Rolling Green Memorial Park Mausoleum.
