LEWISTOWN MAN FATALLY HURT IN HOME WORKSHOP

LEWISTOWN, Pa., July 26. - (UP) - Lester W. Britcher, aged 37, died Saturday 
night a few minutes after a 4-inch-wide belt flew off a planing machine in 
his home workshop, severing his jugular vein and injuring his trachea.
  His brother-in-law, Carl E. Whitsel, with whom he was working, summoned an 
ambulance and attempted to check the bleeding but Britcher was dead on 
arrival at Lewistown hospital.
  His widow survives.
