Jane E. Campbell, 80, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at UPMC
Altoona.
She was born Sept. 14, 1942, in Victoria, Texas, she was the daughter of the late
Everett C. and Lillian I. (Lucas) Haines. Her husband, James C. Campbell preceded
her in death on May 5, 1990.
She is the last of her immediate family, but survived by many loving cousins, living
in and out of Pennsylvania. Jane was a 1960 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
Earlier in life, Jane was employed as a sales clerk at a Ladies-Ready-To-Wear Store
in Lewistown.
After graduation, she was employed at The Lewistown Trust Company Bank for 3 years.
She then was employed at The Department of Public Welfare Mifflin County Board of
Assistance. Retiring in June of 1993 after 30 years of service.
After she retired, Jane was blessed to be the proud owner of four precious poodles,
Angel, Velvet, Maggie, and Peaches, and one very precious Pomeranian, Kayne
Sebastian. They were the love of her life.
Jane was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lewistown.
Details of a service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street,
Lewistown.
