Janet Ellen (Bodley) Carchidi, 88, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday,
May 30, 2024, while residing at Columbia Cottage, Linglestown.
She was the daughter of the late Charles “Red” and Annie (Smith) Bodley, born on May
2, 1936 in Lewistown.
Surviving Janet are her children, Jeffrey Baker of Kutztown, Tamera “Tammy” Swink of
Harrisburg, and Teresa Eckard of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Carchidi; a sister, Betty Bubb; and
three brothers, Charles “Sonny”, Noel, and Michael Bodley.
A public graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Mount
Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
