Guss Funeral Home, Inc.,
James R. Casner, 90, of Mifflintown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November
18, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Jan. 29, 1933, in Mifflintown, he was a son of the late Jamie B. and Edith
(Walker) Casner.
He is survived by his wife, Helen A. (Geedey) Casner, whom he married Nov. 8, 1952
and one daughter, Connie Hohol of Mifflintown,.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Joad R. Casner, and
two brothers, Kenneth Casner and Donald “Mope” Casner.
Interment in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
