Lee E. Colyer, 93, of McAlisterville, passed away at 5:21 p.m. on Thursday, Sept.
21, 2023, at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Mifflintown.
Born June 4, 1930, in Cocolamus, Juniata County, he is a son of the late Joseph Ira
and Lillian Gertrude (Swartwood) Colyer. On June 17, 1950, he married his wife,
Norma L. (Carvell) Colyer, with whom he was blessed to share more than 73 years of
marriage before his passing.
He is survived by his children, Marilyn M. Maurer of Danville, Patricia S. Colyer of
McAlisterville, Robin L. Colyer of Selinsgrove, Anita C. Graham of Stormstown, and
Julie A. Shirk of McAlisterville and one sister, Dorothy Swab.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Colyer
and three siblings, James Colyer, Lewis Colyer, and Ella Mae Varner.
Interment in the St. John’s United Methodist Cemetery.
