Norma L. Colyer, 92, of McAlisterville, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept.
22, 2023 at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Mifflintown.
Born Oct. 17, 1930 in Richfield, Snyder County, she is a daughter of the late John
Henry and Carrie Violet (Hornberger) Carvell. 
On June 17, 1950, she married Lee E. Colyer, with whom she was blessed to share more
than 73 years of marriage before she would join her husband in eternity seven hours
after his passing at 5:21 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn M. Maurer of Danville, Patricia S. Colyer
of McAlisterville, Robin L. Colyer of Selinsgrove, Anita C. Graham of Stormstown,
and Julie A. Shirk of McAlisterville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter,
Barbara Colyer and one sister, Marjorie Graybill.
Interment in the St. John’s United Methodist Cemetery.
