Thomas B. Davis, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at his
home in Lewistown.
Born Nov. 15, 1944, he was preceded in death by his parents, George and Freda
(Specht) Davis, a brother, Harry Davis, and a sister, Mary Magill.
He is survived by: his wife, Paula L. (Shehan) Davis, whom he married July 8, 1967;
son, Robert P. Davis; siblings, Shirley Alexander, Melvin Davis, David Davis, George
Davis, Finda (Davis) Bashore, and Susan (Davis) McHenry; sisters-in-law, Erlinda and
Robin Shehan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thomas graduated from Lewistown High School in 1962 and was a long-time employee of
the Arrow Shirt Company and Lewistown Hospital.
He was a member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, where he sang in the
choir, served as lay reader and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
He was an avid Scouter, former Cubmaster of Pack 19 at Rhodes Memorial UMC, an
Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 15, and served on the Juniata Valley Council for many
years.
A time of greeting will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023, at Rhodes
Memorial UMC, 500 Highland Avenue, Lewistown, followed by a remembrance service at 2
p.m., with Pastor Steven Small and Pastor Thomas Morningstar officiating.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Thomas’ memory to Rhodes Memorial
UMC, 500 Highland Ave., Lewistown, PA 17044.
