Reva S. Diffenderfer, 88, formerly of McAlisterville, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on
Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center,
Mifflintown.
Born on Sept. 30, 1935 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Conn., she was a daughter
of the late Edward M. and Alice S. (Corneliusson) Shontell. On June 20, 1959, she
married her late husband, Donovan Earle Diffenderfer.
She is survived by her brother and sister in law’s, Sandra Stroup and her husband,
Glenn, of Evendale, Joanne Goodling, of Mifflintown, Shirley Strawser of Richfield,
Ralph Diffenderfer and his wife, Pearl of Jacksonville, Fla., Richard Diffenderfer
and his wife, Eloise of Peyton, Colo.
Interment in the Lost Creek Mennonite Cemetery, Oakland Mills.
