Davis, 74, 115 Hammond Rd., Shippensburg, died Monday, February 5, at his residence. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 8, at the Fogelsanger- Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, with Rev. W. Stanley Darrah and Rev. Paul K. Hauk, officiating. Burial was made on February 9 at the Cherry Grove Cemetery. He was born August 26, 1932 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late George Davis and Mona Weyant-Forbes. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 52-years, Carol Kough Davis; one son, Mark A. Davis and wife Janet G. of Newville; one daughter, Suzanne M. Willoughby and husband Stephen P. of Patchogue, NY; five grandchildren, Christiana J. Davis of Carlisle; Johnathan F. Davis of Newville; William A. Davis of Newville; Ashley L. Willoughby of Patchogue, NY and Benjamin A. Willoughby of Patchogue, NY; one great granddaughter, Kilee Grace Bridge of Carlisle. Also surviving are seven brothers, four sisters, step-father, Walton Forbes of Ft. Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister. Mr. Davis was a 1951 graduate of Amon Carter Riverside High School, Ft. Worth, TX and a graduate of the Ft. Worth Business College. He worked as a Systems Management Analyst for the U.S. Department of the Treasury until he retired in 1987. Mr. Davis was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God.
