The cause of her death was cancer. Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Brindle) Brumbaugh, of Entriken, Huntingdon County. She leaves her husband, Benjamin Franklin Davis, and four sons and one daughter: Charles Nelson Davis, Yeagertown; William Samuel, John Otis and Frank McClellan Davis at their home; and Mrs. James (Anna Ruth) Stackhouse, Yeagertown. The mother of the deceased resides at Entriken. These two brothers and two sisters also survive the deceased: Samuel Brumbaugh, Steubenville, Ohio; John Brumbaugh, Entriken; Mrs. Harry D. (Mary Ann) Miller, Claysburg; and Mrs. McClellan Swoop, Woodvale, PA. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Yeagertown Lutheran Church and of the Daughters and Sons of Liberty organization, Yeagertown. The funeral services will be conducted at her late residence, Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock by her Pastor, Rev. Russell F. Auman.
