Joseph E. Forshey, 63, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Born on Aug. 26, 1960, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Lillian
R. (Yoder) Forshey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Forshey; two
sisters, Vicky Forshey and Anna Packer.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie L. (Bay) Forshey, whom he married July 2, 1988;
children, Gregory Forshey of North Ridgeville, OH., Deanna Davis and Katie Wilson
both of Lewistown; siblings, Rebecca Hutchison, and John Forshey both of Lewistown.
Joes erverd in the United States Army National Guards for six years.
