Betty Jane Forsythe, 97, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 at
Greenwood Village.
Born Oct. 12, 1926 in Coraopolis, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Wilma
(Dimeter) Boggs. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her
husband, Edward M. Forsythe, Sr., a son, Edward M. Forsythe, Jr., and 4 siblings.
Betty is survived by her children, Joyce E. Appleby of Kutztown, Clifford M.
Forsythe of McClure, Charlotte M. Snyder of Lewistown and siblings, Edward Brisbin,
of Ohio, and Eleanor Benedict, of Sewickely, PA.
Burial in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
