Sherwood E. ‘Whis’ Frankhouser

Sherwood E. “Whis” Frankhouser, 89, of Belleville passed on Jan. 5, 2024, at
Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. He was the son of the late Foster S. Frankhouser, Sr.
and Marian (Sweitzer) Frankhouser. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Foster
S. Jr., and Dallas. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Benson)
Frankhouser, and daughter, Jill L. Kiley of Coatesville and son, Marc E. of
Westfield, NJ.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
