Lewistown Sentinel - May 23,  2023
Shirley Freed, a remarkable individual who lived a life filled with love,
compassion, and dedication. On May 2, 2023 at the age of 85, she peacefully departed
this world.
Born on August 30th of 1937, Shirley grew up in Decatur township,
In 1954, Shirley married, Donald Freed. Although Donald preceded her in death, their
bond remains unbroken, and they are now reunited for eternity.
A devoted mother, Shirley poured her heart and soul into raising her three
children., Wanda Tate Bailey, Debora Franklin, and Christopher Freed 
Private Interment will take place in Maitland Cemetery
