Melvin P. ‘Shorty’ Fultz

Melvin P. “Shorty” Fultz, 76, of Lewistown, passed away on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at
Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born Feb. 22, 1947 in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Harry J. “Ted” and Vada
Mae (Traxler) Fultz. His wife, Mary Jane (Warner) Fultz, preceded him in death on
May 13, 2005.Also preceding him in death was a sister, Margaret J. Arnold.
Surviving are: a daughter, Susan Mae Hetrick of Spring Mills; a son Brian K. Fultz
of Burnham; five siblings, Herbert J. “Dick” Fultz of Lewistown, Clyde S. “Doodle”
Fultz of Mifflintown, Donna K. Goss of McVeytown, Connie M. Goodling of Liverpool,
Rick Fultz of McVeytown; and a longtime companion, Nettie Fisher of Lewistown.
Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
