Donald G. ‘Duck’ Gilliland

Donald G. “Duck” Gilliland, 83, of Mifflintown, passed away at 9 a.m. on Thursday,
May 30, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born in Reeds Gap, Juniata County on June 21, 1940, and was the son of the
late Paul Maxwell and Beulah (Leonard) Gilliland.
On May 9, 1971 he married his surviving wife Betty Jean (Barton) Gilliland. He is
also survived by a sister Judy Gilliland Fike. He was preceded in death by a
brother, William A. “Bill” Gilliland.
Duck was a proud member of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown
