Charles E. Gross, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 11 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024,
at his home.
Born Oct. 20, 1938, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Virgil W. and Margaret
(Druckemiller) Lyter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie Brown, John
DeArment, and Connie Gross.
Charlie is survived by: daughter, Cathy Hetrick of Spring Mills; sisters, Tami
Lyter, of Lewistown, and Patti Lyter, of Port Royal.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Hornet from May 1960 to April
1964.
