Donald R. Gussler Sr.
Jan 10, 2024
Donald R. Gussler Sr., 89, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at
Brookline Manor.
Born Sept. 8, 1934, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Benjamin H. and Dorothy
Mae (Wirrick) Gussler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by an infant daughter, Darlene Gussler
and siblings, Robert Hockenberry, William Hockenberry, Corrine McLaughlin and Bonnie
Benner.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Beckwith) Gussler; children, Denise Gussler, of
Lewistown, Donald R. Gussler Jr. of New Bloomfield, Diane Gussler, of Collingswood,
N.J. and Dana Snyder of Halifax and a sister, Judy Nace, of McAlisterville.
Donald was a United States Marine Corp veteran. He served in the Korean Conflict.
