MRS. CLARE GETTER

  Mrs. Clare Getter, wife of Dr. John P. Getter, of Belleville, passed away 
at her late home there on Sunday morning, April 18, 1937, at 5:30 o'clock. 
Death was due to arteriosclerosis.
  Mrs. Getter was born at Allensville and was a daughter of the late Hon. T. 
A. W. Webb and Mrs. Webb, both deceased.
  She was a devout member of the Allensville Methodist Church, and had been 
treasurer of the Kishacoquillas Valley Railroad Company during the past forty 
years. This service is unequalled in length by any woman in these United 
States.
  Dr. and Mrs. Getter did not have any children, however, they reared Dr. 
George F. Gracey, of Harrisburg, from early youth.
  She was a kind, loving and generous wife and neighbor and leaves a host of 
friends to mourn her passing.
  Funeral services will be held at the Getter home at Belleville on Tuesday 
afternoon, April 20, 1937, at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Frederick Barton, 
of Smyrna, Del., a brother-in-law of Mrs. Getter and Rev. Wilson Hollinger, 
of Trenton, N. J., a nephew, officiating. Interment will be made at the 
cemetery east of Allensville. McNabb's funeral service.
