Lewistown, June 13. - Andrew Grabbe, aged 12 years, was drowned in Jack's creek about 4 o'clock this afternoon. Today was the last day of school and Andrew with a number of other boys went to the creek to take a swim. He was seized with cramps and got into what is known as the "deep hole." His playmates tried to rescue him and finally got him on the bank while his younger brother, Paul, aged 10 years, ran home for his parents. His father is employed at the Standard Steel works and he with several other men came to the rescue with a large truck and a pulmotor which was used to no avail.
