Henry Graham, the watchman in the big cut on the Pennsylvania railroad a short distance west of Newton Hamilton, was run down and killed by an east-bound freight train about 5.30 o'clock last evening. His body was badly mangled. He had been the watchman there for a number of years and narrowly escaped death by being hit by a train some five years ago. The unfortunate man was 65 years of age and had been employed by the company for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and a veteran of the civil war. Besides a wife he is survived by one daughter, Margaret Graham, of Altoona; also by four other daughters and three sons. Morning Tribune (Altoona), Monday, December 11, 1899
