Charlene G. Haines, 85, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at
Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born June 1, 1938, in Brownsville, Fayette County, she was a daughter of the late
Charles B. Hill Sr. and Myrtle E. Sinamond Hill. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Haines Sr. and siblings, Robert Hill,
Charles B. Hill Jr., and Alice Gwynn. She was the last of her immediate family.
Charlene is survived by: children, Scott A. Haines and wife, Diane E., of Lewistown,
Robert L. Haines Jr. and wife, Beth A., of Lewistown, James C. Haines and wife, Lori
K., of Milroy, and Craig S. Haines and wife, Kathleen P., of Apex, N.C.; She was a
member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Interment at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
