Phyllis M. Hassinger, 96, of Reedsville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1927 to the late Clyde Wilson and Ruth Margaret (Pecht)
Civitts. On Jan. 31, 1946 she married Charles Ray Hassinger, who preceded her in
death on Aug. 29, 2021.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David
Ray Hassinger, one brother and two sisters. She was the last of her immediate
family.
Surviving are children: Nancy Jane Kauffman of Strodes Mills, Melinda S. Rosenthall
of Reedsville, Thomas Charles Hassinger of Milroy, and Timothy Alan Hassinger of
Milroy.
Burial will take place at the Salem Cemetery.
