Richard K. Heister, 73, of Mattawana, passed away on Jan. 3, 2024 at
Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Nov. 17, 1950 in Mattawana, he was a son of the late Charles William and Marian
(Allison) Heister.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Robert and Darl Heister.
Surviving are: two sons, John R. Heister of Milroy, Chad R. Cornelius of Reedsville;
four brothers, Ronald Heister of McVeytown, Larry Heister of Granville, Darwin
Heister of McVeytown, Carl Heister of Camp Hill; a sister, Jane Cramer of
McAlisterville.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War,
 Interment in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
