Esther M. (Dressler) Henry

Esther M. (Dressler) Henry, 97, died on the evening of Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at
Celebration Villa of Reedsville where she resided since August 2022.
Born Sept. 22, 1926, in Fayette Township, Juniata County, Esther was the fifth of
ten children of the late John E. and Viola P. (Davis) Dressler. Esther married her
late husband, Dale H. “Bud” Henry Jr. on Dec. 22, 1948.
She is survived by one son, Dale H. Henry III of Lewistown; a sister, Annabelle
“Annie” Gordon of McAlisterville; two half-sisters, Lora Ann Riggin and Rayona K.
Eaton.
Esther was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda K. Henry, on Aug. 8, 1994
and six brothers and two sisters: Kenneth N. Dressler, Ruth V. Goodling, Samuel N.
Dressler, Ceylon A. “Dick” Dressler, Simon R. Dressler, Helen M. McNemar, Lawrence
S. Dressler and Paul E. Dressler.
Interment in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery in Mifflintown
