Doris B. “Dot” Hoverter, 90, of Mifflin, formerly of Thompsontown and Lewistown,
passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born March 20, 1933 in Turbett Township, Juniata Co., she was a daughter of the late
Edward J. and Viola (Reed) Bowen and was preceded in death by six brothers, Paul,
Don, Bobby, John, Jimmy, and Tommy and three sisters, Loretta Miller, Linda Burris,
and Victoria Bowen.
She is survived by one sister, Nancy J. Foose of Tuscarora
Dot was a member of the Tuscarora Church of the Brethren.
Burial in  New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal,
