Sue Katherine (Hummell) Goss, 76, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at her home
among family and friends on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:34 a.m. She was the
daughter of the late Braden A. and Marion L. (Snyder) Hummell.
Sue was a homemaker, had a cleaning business for residents and businesses for some
years. She loved home decorating and crafts. She loved her “Rock Garden” with
various flowering shrubs.
Sue gave her heart to Jesus on March 16, 1986, and loved Him since. She loved
reading the Bible and also enjoyed reading about the Amish.
Sue attended the Lockes Bank Church and later the Mount Rock Church.
Sue is survived by her husband, Steve; her son, Martin L. Martell and wife, Teri;
granddaughter, Amanda, and great grandson, Leighton, from Clearfield.
Also surviving is a step-son, David Goss, with his wife and three children from
Hampton, VA. David’s daughters, Christina Gotz and Michelle Stowasser and their
families in Germany.
She is survived by her siblings, Jeff Hummell, Tina Rauch, and Teresa Hummell, of
Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her were her brother, Paul Hummell, and sister, Linda Rubly, of
Clearfield.
Friends and family will be received at the King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street,
Lewistown on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 5, 2023
from 10-11 a.m. The service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Rev. Rex Evans
and Rev. Zachary Clevenger officiating. Interment will be at Vira Methodist Cemetery
with a reception afterwards.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mount Rock Evangelical Methodist Church, 127
Spring Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
