Joseph A. Hunter, 84, of McClure, passed away at 4:43 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024,
at his home.
Born March 3, 1940, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Jeannette M.
(Baker) Hunter. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a
sister, Mary Long, and brother, Ed Hunter.
Joe is survived by: wife, Connie D. (Bowersox) Hunter, whom he married Jan. 17,
1959; children, Timothy W. Hunter of McClure, Debora Y. Nester of Va., and Andrew W.
Hunter of McAlisterville and siblings, Wanda Walters, Betty Greca, Shirley Shawver
and Ronald Hunter all of McClure.
Interment at Wagner Cemetery, McClure.
