In 1889 he took a supernumerary relation and in 1888 was placed on the superannuated list. Mr. Haughawaut is survived by a wife who is in feeble health. He leaves also, we believe, two sons, but of his family we have no information. He was a quiet, unassuming man, a faithful minister of the Word, one whose piety and sincerely and patience are worthy of wide imitation.
