MRS. MALCOM S. HAYS

  Mrs. Della Rebecca Hays, wife of Malcom S. Hays, 89 Logan Street, died at 
the Lewistown Hospital this Thursday morning at 3:20 o'clock, aged 22 years 
10 months and 18 days.
  Since last Saturday she was a medical patient at the local hospital, her 
last illness dating from Tuesday, July 2.  On June 11 Mrs. Hays gave birth 
to a son Samuel Thomas Hays, who is living.
  Her maiden name was Miss Della Rebecca Baumgardner, a daughter of Edward 
and Jennie (Freed) Baumgardner.  Her mother is residing at Centre Hall and 
the father is dead.
  Mrs. Hays leaves her husband Malcom S. Hays and two young children, Sarah 
Jane, two years of age, and Samuel Thomas, a month old baby.
  She is survived also by one brother and four sisters: Joseph Baumgardner, 
Derry Township, near Electric Avenue, Lewistown R.D.; Mrs. Wayne (Mary) 
Fultz, Naginey; Mrs. Fred (Susanna) Hays, 120 Logan Street; Misses Naomi and 
Geraldine Baumgardner at their parental home, Centre Hall.
  The body was taken in charge by Fretz, funeral director.  The funeral 
services will be conducted at the late residence of the deceased 89 Logan 
Street, Saturday afternoon, 3 o'clock.  The burial will be made in St. 
Mark's Cemetery.
